Fortnite Leak Reveals Big Changes Coming to Blitz Royale

    Summary

    • Epic Games may remove bots from Blitz Royale, though no official plans have been announced.
    • It’s possible that gamers will be able to team up in groups of six in the future.
    • The Fantastic Four may be making their debut in Fortnite alongside their upcoming MCU film.

A popular Fortnite leaker has revealed that Epic Games may be removing bots from Blitz Royale in the future, though the change seems to be part of a new option that would allow players to team up in larger groups. Fortnite is currently in the middle of Chapter 6 Season 3, which has brought iconic DC characters like Robin and Superman to the title.

Blitz Royale has become one of Fortnite‘s most popular modes, pulling in a massive number of players craving a fast and fun experience that can be completed in just five minutes. The new mode differs from the classic battle royale in several meaningful ways. For instance, lobbies are only comprised of 32 people instead of the usual 99. The map is also smaller, and it consists of several locations that have appeared previously in Fortnite. By default, there’s no building in Blitz Royale, which means players can’t turtle up, as the storm continually forces gamers into conflict with one another. Blitz Royale was originally designed for mobile, but it is available on all platforms and features full crossplay support.

Fortnite may be bringing back old collaboration seasons.

Fortnite Leak Suggests Old Crossover Seasons May Return

A prominent Fortnite leaker surprises players by suggesting that previously released collaboration seasons may be coming back to the battle royale.

In a recent post on Twitter, the prominent leaker Loolo_WRLD revealed that Epic Games could be removing bots from Blitz Royale in the future. They also stated that, as of writing, this is only being considered for a version of the mode that allows players to team up in groups of six instead of four. This is coming hot off the heels of another Fortnite leak by Loolo_WRLD, which claimed that a whole new game mode could be on the way. That post also claimed that Epic Games is moving toward allowing players to group up in larger numbers.

Fortnite’s Blitz Royale May Remove Bots and Increase Team Sizes

Epic Games recently extended the availability of Fortnite‘s Blitz Royale by four weeks, as it was originally only supposed to stick around for about a month. In addition to extending access to the game mode, the developers will continue to support it by adding fresh content every week. This could include weapons, items, and even locations that promise to shake up the existing map.

Another leak has claimed that Fortnite could be collaborating with the MCU once again to bring Mister Fantastic, The Thing, Invisible Woman, and Human Torch to the popular battle royale in the near future. While no official release date for the skins has been announced, many leakers seem to believe that they will make their debut with the launch of The Fantastic Four: First Steps on July 25. With so much content to enjoy and even more just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
