Are you curious about how to cure Frostbite in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers? This is one of the most dangerous status effects in the game, as it greatly impacts your mobility and avoidance. On the bright side, you only have to contend with it in mountainous regions with colder climates.
How to cure Frostbite in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Frostbite is a status effect that you primarily have to deal with while exploring the game’s Cloudspire region. These include areas like the Snowy Passage, Cloudspire Outskirts, Rebel Camp, and Snowpeak Pass.
Frostbite causes and effects
The Wuchang: Fallen Feathers Frostbite affliction builds up whenever you’re in an extremely cold area. It can also build up if you get hit by certain water-based or ice-based attacks from enemies.
Upon reaching a threshold, you’ll suffer an instance of damage. Likewise, your maximum stamina will be halved for the duration, which lasts several seconds. Needless to say, this can be a huge problem if you’re trying to dodge or sprint past enemies.
Best armors for Frostbite resistance
Not counting Deluxe Edition gear pieces, we feel that the following armors grant decent Frostbite resistance:
- Head: Senior Maid’s Scarf
- Chest: Junior Maid’s Garment
- Bracers: Consort’s Bracers
- Leg armor: Consort’s Skirt
Equipping all of these grants 255 Frostbite resistance. There’s just one problem: You won’t obtain these until a bit later in the game. As such, your only recourse if it’s your first time trekking in Cloudspire is to rely on items.

Items that can cure Frostbite
Several items help alleviate or cure Frostbite in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. These can be acquired in the environment, and some can be purchased from Wu Gang:
- Sapphire Lotus Seed – Alleviates Frostbite buildup and cures Frostbite.
- Spicy Soup – Alleviates Frostbite buildup and cures Frostbite. Grants immunity to Frostbite buildup from the environment.
- Kong Wine – Instantly restores health and increases Frostbite resistance temporarily.
- Fixed Origin Pill – Boosts all status effect resistances temporarily.
Try to have at least one or two of these items in your inventory quick access slots. That way, you can cleanse the debuff whenever you need to.
