For a limited time, PC gamers have the chance to add three more games to their digital libraries. When it comes to free game giveaways, PC has a distinct advantage over consoles. Most of the “free” console games are actually tied to subscripion services, whereas many of the free PC games are genuinely 100% free. If PC gamers are willing to use the launcher tied to the free games, they can get them at zero cost and no strings attached.
Multiple storefronts give PC gamers another advantage when it comes to free game giveaways. The various digital storefronts and launchers ensure that there are a variety of free games available at any given time. The Epic Games Store, for example, gives away new free games on a weekly basis fairly consistently. Steam free games are not as consistent, but they are still frequent. As long as one keeps an eye out for the free game giveaways, PC gamers can build a large collection of freebies pretty fast.

Best PC Games With Low Specs
You don’t need a monstrous PC to see some of the best the platform has to offer. Today, let’s cover the best low-end PC games.
At the time of this writing, PC gamers have three free games that they can claim for their collections – one from Steam and two from the Epic Games Store. On Steam, PC gamers can claim Barro GT as long as they do so by August 4. The current Epic Games Store free games, meanwhile, are Pilgrims and Keylocker, which will both be available until August 7. At that point, they will be cycled out for the next Epic Games Store free games, which are 112 Operator and Road Redemption.
Free PC Games Right Now
For those unfamiliar with the games, Barro GT is a racing game that’s currently free as part of Steam’s Racing Fest event. The event hopes to celebrate the large number of racing games on Steam through special discounts and, in the case of Barro GT, a free giveaway. The end of Barro GT‘s free window coincides with the end of Steam’s Racing Fest event on August 4.
On the Epic Games Store side of things, Keylocker is a turn-based RPG with rhythm game elements, while Pilgrims is an artsy adventure game with “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews where players roam the land and interact with a variety of interesting characters. Again, PC gamers interested in snagging Keylocker and Pilgrims for their digital libraries have until August 7 to do so, so while there’s a little more time than there is for Barro GT, the clock is still ticking.
