Recent datamining has revealed that Genshin Impact will feature Sucrose, Dori, Aino, Kaveh, and Kuki Shinobu on the Event Banners in Version 6.0. Nod-Krai, the next region of Teyvat, is set to open its doors to the Traveler and Paimon on September 10. Its introductory patch will mark the debut of three playable characters in Genshin Impact: Lauma, Aino, and Flins. While the trio will no doubt be the most anticipated characters of Version 6.0, its Event Banners will also feature some important reruns.
Yelan and Nahida will both join Lauma and Flins as the featured 5-Stars of Version 6.0, with Nahida all but confirming that a Sumeru Chronicled Banner is coming to Genshin Impact. As an Electro hypercarry, Flins continues to further the Lunar-Charged reaction, displaying synergy with characters such as Yelan, Furina, Sucrose, and Ineffa. On the other hand, Lauma is intended to introduce Lunar-Bloom to the game, a way to turn Bloom Cores into a Dendro version of Navia’s Crystallize bullets.
Genshin Impact: Banner Characters in Version 6.0
- Lauma – 5-Star Dendro Catalyst
- Nahida – 5-Star Dendro Catalyst
- Flins – 5-Star Electro Polearm
- Yelan – 5-Star Hydro Bow
- Aino – 4-Star Hydro Claymore
- Sucrose – 4-Star Anemo Catalyst
- Kuki Shinobu – 4-Star Electro Sword
- Kaveh – 4-Star Dendro Claymore
- Dori – 4-Star Electro Claymore
According to HomDGCat, these 5-Stars will be accompanied by Aino, Kaveh, Kuki Shinobu, Sucrose, and Dori. In terms of their value as 4-Star characters in Genshin Impact, Sucrose and Shinobu are a tier above the rest. The former, in particular, has gained a lot of value due to how well Elemental Mastery scales with Lunar reactions, making her one of the best teammates for Flins. The latter needs no introduction, as Shinobu remains a staple of Hyperbloom teams.
While the datamined information cannot pinpoint the exact order of how these Genshin Impact characters will feature in Version 6.0, there are a few plausible extrapolations to make. Aino was confirmed to be in the first half during her drip marketing in August. However, with Lauma also being in the first half, the other 4-Stars will most likely be Kuki Shinobu and Kaveh. This leaves Dori and Sucrose for Flins in the second half, potentially joined by someone like Barbara as the final featured 4-Star.
It remains to be seen how much Aino in Genshin Impact will contribute to Nod-Krai teams or what her overall value will end up being, but first impressions of her ability kit have been positive. She does not enable Lunar-Charged reactions on her own, but she does buff them on top of providing decent Hydro application. It’s important to remember that players will be able to obtain a free copy of Aino after Version 6.0, which is set to launch on September 10.
