Oda Confirms A Living Legend From The Void Century, And It’s Not Imu

For decades, Oda has been hiding the secrets of the One Piece world, but finally, things are slowly being explained.

Recently, Oda went on to tease another character from the Void Century, and it is one connected to Rocks D. Xebec.

One Piece fans know very well that Imu is one of the most important characters in the whole story. Although they were only revealed in One Piece around 7-8 years ago, fans know very well that Oda has actually been building them up for decades now. Imu is the one who fought Joy Boy long ago, around the time of the Void Century, and came out as the victor.

Now, however, Imu is preparing for a battle yet again, and this time, elements from the past are resurfacing. As fans know, Nika is finally back. Known to be a pirate that existed long ago, Davy Jones resided on a place called the Pirate Island (not Hachinosu). He was cursed by the Devil and forced to live on the seafloor. It is said that he claims all the sunken treasure and ships, and that he is alive to this day. One Piece chapter 1155 saw Rocks D. Xebec claim to be a worshipper of Davy Jones. In other words, Davy Jones was real, and he had history with Imu, given their reaction. Most likely, Rocks is a descendant of Davy Jones.

It is highly likely that the one who cursed Davy Jones was Imu, given that Rocks brought him up. Rocks carried on his will, but now, his son, Blackbeard, is going to do the rest, and he is the Davy Jones of this era.
