The manga was only behind One Punch Man, which sold 123,649 copies. It’s understandable that One Punch Man is so high because the manga is still ongoing, but Demon Slayer breaking into the top 3 is really baffling. The manga ended in 2020, and yet it has managed to outsell Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece.

Demon Slayer securing a high position shows the level of love and appreciation fans have for the series. Moreover, it shows that Demon Slayer is still attracting new fans. Despite the manga reaching such heights, it’s not going to be possible for it to stay in the same position for the next few weeks. The Demon Slayer manga will likely drop a few places, but it might stay in the top 10.

Recently, the Demon Slayer manga crossed 220 million copies sold marker, making it one of the few series to achieve this feat. The accomplishment means that Demon Slayer is now ahead of other manga like Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and Kingdom. With only a handful of titles ahead in terms of sales, Demon Slayer fans will be hoping that the series overtakes at least a couple more.
