Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac will feature Pac-Man and Sonic crossovers, respectively. The upcoming collaborations were revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live.
The Pac-Man World 2 remake was officially announced during the latest Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase in late July 2025. Conversely, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds was first unveiled at The Game Awards in December 2024. Both titles are targeting late September 2025 releases.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds and Pac-Man World 2 Remake Reveal Pac-Man and Sonic DLC
The upcoming games will see Sonic and Pac-Man cross over with each other, which was just announced during Gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live. Both collaborations will materialize in the form of paid DLC. The Sonic pack for Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac will be the first to hit the market, being planned to arrive in late 2025. Meanwhile, the Pac-Pan DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is slated for a Q1 2026 launch.

The Deluxe Edition of the game is currently available for pre-order at $89.99, implying that the first season pass may be priced at $19.99 when sold separately, though Sega has yet to officially confirm this. Meanwhile, the complete edition of Pac-Man World 2 Re-Pac is priced at $39.99, suggesting that its full set of DLC is unlikely to exceed $10, based on the difference from the base game.
