Solo Leveling has been all the talk online over the last year or so. Its second season dropped this year, earlier in 2025, and was a massive hit with fans, surpassing even its first season. Since then, Solo Leveling has won some big awards, such as the title of Anime of the Year, with Sung Jinwoo winning the Best Main Character award.
All this indicates that Solo Leveling is dominating in sales. But, this doesn’t seem to be the case. While Solo Leveling is big online, this doesn’t seem to translate into a lot of sales. Solo Leveling’s new volume didn’t even break into the top 20 when it comes to Adult Graphic Novels in July 2025, while Jujutsu Kaisen is dominating the charts with old volumes. Solo Leveling is getting crushed by Jujutsu Kaisen, and it’s not even close.
Solo Leveling is Big, But It Can’t Beat Jujutsu Kaisen
Jujutsu Kaisen Dominated Sales In Adult Graphic Novels
Solo Leveling is definitely popular, but for some reason, the sales aren’t there. Fans might think that the reason it isn’t ranking is because the series hasn’t had any new volumes in a while, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Solo Leveling Volume 12 dropped just recently, in June. This shouldn’t be enough time for such a big series to disappear from the rankings.
Meanwhile, Jujutsu Kaisen volume 26, which is number 1 on the charts, was released in English in May. This isn’t even Jujutsu Kaisen’s only volume in the top 20, as Jujutsu Kaisen volume 25 is in 7th place. Even Jujutsu Kaisen’s first volume made it into the top 10, in 9th spot. This is three volumes, all older than Solo Leveling’s most recent one, ranking far better.
Here’s the full ranking for fans that are curious:
1. Jujutsu Kaisen Vol. 26
2. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Part 7 – Steel Ball Run Vol. 2 HC
3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin HC
4. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin II – Re-Evolution HC
5. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Part 7 – Steel Ball Run Vol. 1 HC
6. All-Star Superman: DC Compact Comics Edition
7. Jujutsu Kaisen Vol. 25
8. The Summer Hikaru Died Vol. 1
9. Jujutsu Kaisen Vol. 1
10. One Piece Vol. 109
11. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Vol. 1
12. Gachiakuta Vol. 1
13. One Piece Omnibus Edition Vol. 1
14. Blue Lock Vol. 20
15. Berserk Deluxe Vol. 1 HC
16. My Hero Academia Vol. 41
17. Chainsaw Man Vol. 18
18. Blue Lock Vol. 1
19. Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Vol. 22
20. Destroy All Humans. They Can’t Be Regenerated. A Magic: The Gathering Manga Vol. 4
This definitely raises many questions concerning Solo Leveling’s popularity, and how long it can even last if its newest volume is unable to stay in the charts for more than a month. Hopefully, the series performs better in the future.
Solo Leveling has two seasons out right now, one with 12 episodes and the other with 13, for a combined episode count of 25 episodes available to watch right now. The series can be streamed on Crunchyroll for fans to enjoy while awaiting any more news concerning the third season. For fans who can’t wait for season 3 to come out, checking out the Manhwa might be a great option.
