You can get every Ninpo and Ninjutsu in Shinobi just by playing through the main story. However, the Kunai Burst Ninpo is locked behind a secret in Oboro Village, the very first stage of the game. You’ll only be able to get there once you unlock the Sword Dive ability in the Submarine Base mission.
Ninpo are your basic ninja skills. They deal more damage than basic attacks and combat abilities in Shinobi: Art of Vengeance, but they cost one Ninpo Cell to use. Ninpo Cells recharge whenever you hit enemies with attacks, and they can be refilled fairly quickly as long as you can hit your combos. Don’t be afraid to use Ninpo skills, especially against elite enemies.
You can unlock more Ninpo Cells by buying them from the shop, finding secrets, or simply progressing through the game.
Ninjutsu are more impactful than Ninpo, but they use a resource called Rage, which builds up when you take damage or defeat enemies. You’ll know if you have a full Rage meter by checking Musashi’s portrait on the upper-left side of your screen. Ninjutsu are essentially Ultimate skills, and they can completely turn the tide of battle if you use them properly.
