After all, Oda has been waiting to start the Final Saga of One Piece for over 2 decades now. According to Oda, Sanji is going to develop even further in the future, which means that he will grow a lot stronger soon. Oda said this specifically in regard to his Germa Lineage Factor growth. Here’s what he had to say:

In the Elbaf arc, Oda has made it quite clear that Sanji will also gain Conqueror’s Haki soon enough. This power is needed to fight and injure the immortals of the One Piece world, and Sanji not having it is impossible.

Sanji Will Surpass Scopper Gaban

At the end of the day, Sanji will have to surpass Scopper Gaban, a legendary pirate in the same tier as Roger. Sanji will go on to reach his level and even go beyond once he’s in his prime. Right now, however, he’s no match.
