Bloodborne
All Three Endings Are Equally Compelling
Bloodborne is one of the best action RPGs that players can enjoy, with Miyazaki’s world-building being on a completely different level here. The background storytelling is sublime, and players who seek out as much information as possible about the world will be left in awe by the endings, all three of which have significant narrative implications.
Submitting to Gerhman’s wishes leads to the player waking up from the Hunter’s Dream, although the implications of this conclusion aren’t exactly positive. Defeating Gerhman but being unable to fathom the Moon Presence turns the Hunter into Gerhman’s replacement, while shocking the Moon Presence and defeating it in combat allows players to ascend and become an infant Great One.

Fallout: New Vegas
The Ending Does A Great Job Of Taking Player Choice Into Account
Fallout: New Vegas is one of the most ambitious and rewarding RPGs in history. The role-playing in this game is off the charts and is rewarding up to its multiple conclusions, when fans get to enjoy an in-depth breakdown of everything they did as the Courier.
Players seeing their impact on the Mojave and its residents is great, and the DLCs also receive some closure in the ending crawl. No matter what decisions players make, the vast majority of them are reflected in the ending, which is quite impressive.

However, most players will opt for the good ending, where Omori disappears and Sunny finally comes clean to his friends in one of the most heartwarming endings in the medium. Alternatively, players can go down the Hikikomori route and unlock two equally horrible endings where Sunny either leaves the neighborhood without ever confronting his demons or stabs himself after being lost in the dream world for too long.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
CD Projekt Red Does A Great Job Of Giving Closure To All Of Geralt’s Actions
The Witcher 3 is an epic adventure filled with numerous twists and turns. After finding Ciri, players defeat the Wild Hunt, only to realize that Avallac’h has taken Geralt’s ward to wipe out the White Frost.
Depending on how Geralt treats Ciri, she can either succumb to the White Frost in an incredibly sad ending or succeed in this goal. The latter sees the ending branching off into two paths, with Ciri becoming either a witcher or the empress of Nilfgaard based on Geralt’s actions.

While the additional content present in Persona 5 Royal is appreciated for obvious reasons, some players feel like it dilutes the impact of the original Persona 5 ending, since the Phantom Thieves have to deal with Maruki’s threat in an additional chapter after defeating Yaldabaoth and seemingly losing their powers.
The original ending was perfect and more heartwarming, with the Phantom Thieves saving the world and embarking on an epic road trip before the protagonist must go back to his family. It’s a great way to end the game on a high note, even if characters like Akechi and Kasumi don’t get a cameo in this version of Persona 5‘s conclusion.

Cyberpunk 2077
The Mature Writing Of This Game Shines In Its Many Fleshed-Out Endings
Cyberpunk 2077 wiped away almost all of its bugs and let fans enjoy one of the greatest stories told in an RPG. V’s allegiances and choices allowed them to take the help of their friends and storm Arasaka Tower to save themselves.
If players take Hanako’s help, then they’ll power towards one of the two bad endings, both of which are surprisingly poignant. Taking the help of the Aldecaldos causes V to leave Night City with the nomad group, while taking Rogue’s help will allow V to spend their remaining time becoming a Night City legend. Along with this, there’s also a suicide ending that is about as depressing as it sounds, and another conclusion if V decides to give their body to Johnny and allow him a second chance at life.

Chrono Trigger
The Multiple-Ending Structure Was Groundbreaking
Chrono Trigger is one of the most revolutionary games of all time, experimenting with concepts like multiple endings and New Game Plus modes well before they became industry norms. For the most part, players will initiate the game’s regular ending after defeating Lavos when intended, unless they’ve grinded to kingdom come.
New Game Plus allows players to defeat Lavos at different points in the story, leading to everything from the Developer Room ending to a version of events where Chrono was never revived. These alternate conclusions do a great job of fitting into the story and provide yet another reason as to why players can’t get enough of Chrono Trigger and its brilliance.
