The Shu Sanctum is the second location players will reach, which has multiple NPCs hiding out from the feathered humans taking over in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. While it may just seem like a temporary hub area to visit, you’ll quickly find a large mechanism in the center of the building that needs the Shu Santum Key to operate.
The Shu Sanctum Key isn’t as far as players may think it is, but it’s best to be prepared, as the key is guarded by the game’s third major boss. Here’s where to find the Shu Sanctum key in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers.

Where to Find the Shu Sanctum Key in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
The Shu Sanctum has three levels that players can climb and explore, with there being a Shrine on the right side of the first floor from where you enter. It’s recommended you use the Shrine, as the top of the Shu Sanctum is the game’s third major boss.
Climb the stairs in the back right corner of the first floor in the Sanctum, followed by the next set of stairs in the far right corner of the second floor. Upon the third floor, you’ll see the rooms covered in blood with weird growths, with the main room of the flooring being the boss room for Feathered Priest – Lu Bingzhang. Defeating this boss will drop the Shu Santcum key.
Tips for Fighting Feathered Priest – Lu Bingzhang
This boss has a lot of attacks that deal corruption status effect, so you’ll want either resistance on your armor or items to alleviate corruption buildup. This boss jumps in the air a lot, either to charge an attack or just to reposition, so bring consumables you can throw or spells that are ideal for ranged combat.
By far his biggest threat is his grab attack, which has only a short windup and a long lunge. You’ll see it about to be cast as a small purple ball appears in his hand, indicating you need to dodge to either side to avoid it, with the left being the best option. Not only does this grab deal a lot of damage, but it will almost always inflict you with corruption after either one hit before or after the grab.

What to do with the Shu Sanctum Key in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
Once you have the key in hand, head back down to the first floor of the Sanctum and rest at the shrine, as you’ll quickly enter the next area after using the key. Turn from the shrine and approach the center of the Sanctum to find a wooden handlebar sticking from the central contraption. With the key in hand, you can activate the contraption and push open the hidden stairway. The newly opened stairway can be found just to the right of the handlebar, right into the ground in front of the pedestal.
