Wuchang: Fallen Feathers has a lot of NPCs, some of whom will ask you to do certain favors for them. Most of these requests are simple fetch quests, which involve exploring a specific area to find an item. There will be times when the player has no idea where to locate the item an NPC wants, so it’s best to pick up any item you come across during your journey.

How to Find the Painting in Annalum for Tao Qing in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
During the tutorial section of the game, you will come across Tao Qing at the bottom of the Reverant Temple. Talk to him and inquire about his business, where he will mention that a painting—his family heirloom—was stolen by bandits. He will tell you that the painting is in Annalum, and if you manage to find it, you should make your way to Shu Sanctum to find him and receive your reward.
Where to Find Annalum in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
To find Annalum, you must explore the area around Shu Sanctum. This is a generally large area where you will even encounter an optional boss. Upon arriving at the area with the Fire Dancer enemy, deal with them and look to your left to spot a path that leads down next to the stairs. As you go down this path, you will come across a wooden bridge, and crossing it leads you to Annalum.
Going up the path, you will find a Shrine that you can use to level up. Head into the main courtyard to find several enemies. In this area, you can find the Shadow Stone Needle and a Pendant to the left, and the path to the right leads to another wooden bridge. Cross this bridge to find an empowered enemy, and defeating them will drop the Scenic Painting.
Once you have acquired the Painting, head back to Shu Sanctum and talk to Tao Qing to complete this quest. He will reward you with a Red Mercury Shoot.
Players can also bring boss items back to Tao Qing to access the boss’s spells, outfits, and more for purchase.
