Best Rick Grimes Perks in Dead by Daylight
These are the four best perks that you should be using with Rick Grimes in Dead by Daylight.

This build is centered around Apocalyptic Ingenuity, which is one of Rick’s unique perks. With it, Rick can rebuild broken pallets into fragile pallets after unlocking or rummaging through two chests. There’s no limit to this, either. It’s as incredible as it sounds, and you can seriously mess with some killers if you’re good at chases.
It pairs well with Ace in the Hole (obtained from Ace Visconti), which greatly improves the items that you find within chests. Since Rick has to open chests to activate Apocalyptic Ingenuity, you may as well farm items for your squad with Ace in the Hole in the process. You’ll be able to spot chests through walls with the help of Plunderer’s Instinct as well.
Appraisal (which was buffed with The Walking Dead update) completes this perk setup, letting you rummage through opened chests at the cost of special tokens. Since Rick’s Apocalyptic Ingenuity perk counts unlocking and rummaging as individual actions, you can unlock the ability to build fragile pallets unbelievably fast. Appraisal also improves your rummaging speed, which is just the cherry on top.
Best Items and Add-Ons for Rick Grimes
Keys are the best item for Rick Grimes after their rework in The Walking Dead update. Keys can quickly open chests and reveal the auras of survivors, and unlocking chests with a key will reveal the chest’s aura to other survivors so they can come and rummage through it for an item.
Since this Rick Grimes build is running the Ace in the Hole perk that rewards better items from chests, it’ll be easier to share your spoils with other survivors since they’ll be able to see the auras of chests that you’ve unlocked. Any Key add-ons work for this build, too, especially ones that increase Key charges or decrease channeling time. You’ll be able to recharge Apocalyptic Ingenuity so you can build fragile pallets while also equipping your fellow Dead by Daylight survivors with flashlights and other helpful items to counter the killer.
