PEAK may seem like a fun mountain climbing simulator where you and your friends have to get to the peak. However, the island contains not only different biomes, but also creatures that can kill you. Therefore, in this guide, we will tell you about all PEAK monsters and how to survive them.
Not all creatures in PEAK will be aggressive towards you, so you can avoid problems if you do not disturb them. However, players should be careful and not violate rule number 0.

PEAK: All Items & What They Do
Most items in PEAK will make climbing rocks easier or cure status effects; here’s a look at all the items in the game and what they do.
PEAK Monsters Explained
First of all, it is worth noting that there is only one real monster in PEAK. The rest of the creatures that can ruin your run are either animals or some kind of plants. Despite this, you must carefully explore the island, as even a simple poison can knock you unconscious and cause you to fall from a high cliff. For this reason, below we have compiled a list of all the monsters and threats that you should be wary of in PEAK.
How to Survive Every Monster in PEAK
Scoutmaster
This is a real hidden threat that lives on the island. Luckily, he only appears in two cases. If one member of the team wanders far away from the rest, the Scoutmaster will spawn nearby. The second case only works for solo players and requires the use of the Scoutmaster’s Bugle.
Unfortunately, it is impossible to survive an encounter with the Scoutmaster’s Bugle. He will chase you and throw you off the cliff until you die. The exception is a solo run, as the monster will despawn about a minute after using Scoutmaster’s Bugle. So just stick together with friends to survive.
Jellyfish
These creatures can only be found on the Shore. They just lie on the ground and do not attack you in any way. However, if you step on them, you will slip and fall. This will cause a small amount of damage to your stamina. And while they may not seem particularly dangerous, you can easily fall off a cliff if you accidentally step on a Jellyfish in the PEAK.

PEAK: How to Ping and Emote
PEAK lets players ping locations and use emotes to quickly communicate with their teammates. Here’s how you can do it.
Sea Urchins
These are another creature exclusive to the Shore biome. Sea Urchins resemble large spiky bushes and can poison you if touched. We recommend not touching them and especially avoiding falling into the places where Sea Urchins cluster.
Tick
While other threats can be spotted from afar, the Tick can only be spotted after it attaches to you. A sign that you have been bitten by a Tick is the growing poison status. In this case, you should ask your teammates to help you, as you cannot remove it yourself. And you definitely do not want to leave the tick on you, as it will apply more and more poison to you and quickly grow in size.
Bees
Bees are another creature in PEAK that will not touch you unless you bother them. However, you will want to do so, as they guard a hive with honeycombs, which are one of the best unpackaged foods. To deal with bees, we recommend stealing a hive and running as far as possible. Bees will chase you for a while, after which they will despawn, and you will be able to get your well-deserved Honeycombs.
