An Elden Ring fan has shared their stunning Needle Knight Leda cosplay with the FromSoftware fandom, bringing the Shadow of the Erdtree boss and ringleader of Miquella’s followers to life. Before Leda’s introduction with the DLC expansion, the base Elden Ring game was released in February 2022 by FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment, and it became a rousing success thanks to challenging soulslike gameplay, detailed and fantastical locales, and compelling lore created by Hidetaka Miyazaki and Game of Thrones author George R.R. Martin.
The Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion wowed fans when it launched in 2024. In the expansion, players were treated to the explorable Land of Shadow map, dozens of new weapons and gear, and a slew of new bosses. Just one year after Shadow of the Erdtree’s release, players returned to the world of Elden Ring in Elden Ring Nightreign, a co-op team-based soulslike spin-off that lets players hunt bosses with their friends. Recent updates and new Elden Ring Nightreign content caused a massive player spike on Steam, and Elden Ring fans are still singing the praises of the original game while paying tribute in the form of online content and cosplays.

Reddit user Warm_Ice_5057 shared photos on the Elden Ring subreddit of the fan’s beautiful cosplay of Needle Knight Leda, similarly to one fan’s stunning Malenia Phase Two cosplay. In the photos, Warm_Ice_5057 can be seen wearing their own replica of Leda’s Chest Armor from Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. The cosplayer also has a handmade replica of Leda’s Sword, which is an actual in-game greatsword that players can acquire by defeating Leda in the expansion.

Fans and Redditors were amazed by Warm_Ice_5057’s Needle Knight Leda, and in the comments, Warm_Ice_5057 reiterated that they crafted and refined the cosplay themselves. Some fans praised the attention to detail on the cosplayer’s Leda outfit, with one fan even saying that their heart was stolen. Others jokingly remarked that the cosplayer should have taken a close-up photo with Leda’s “crazy eyes,” which has been subject to memes and fan art following the launch of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree last year.
Needle Knight Leda is among one of the first NPCs that players meet in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. In fact, Leda offers one of the expansion’s most interesting quests, and players can meet her by heading to the Highroad Cross Site of Grace, which is located in Scadu Altus.
