How to Solve the Gladiator Maze Puzzle
The video above is a full walkthrough of the entire Gladiator Maze, so you know exactly when and where to place the platforms to help the fireball pass through successfully!
Once players locate the Headless Gladiator’s sword, found on the right platform of the maze, they can insert the sword into the Headless Gladiator’s hand and then pull it with their whip to unleash a fireball that will roll across the maze. The objective here is simple: use the 3 platforms provided to guide the fireball through the maze and light the 4 gladiators, but this must be done in a specific order. Each gladiator has an animal on their shield, and the order is noted by the murals on the left and right sides of the room, thanks to the associated Roman Numeral. Here’s the order that the fireball must pass through in order to complete the puzzle:
- Lion Shield (top left corner)
- Boar Shield (bottom left corner)
- Tiger Shield (top right corner)
- Bear Shield (bottom right corner)
Players will have 3 parts in the maze that they can pick up and use to help guide the ball through to its destination, and they can be picked up and alternated throughout. Players will have 2 curved platforms and 1 straight platform. The video above showcases how we used all of them to complete the puzzle.
