Pokemon Sun and Moon fans who love Litten will want to get ready, as Build-a-Bear is releasing a plush based on the popular starter. Fans won’t have to wait long to get their hands on the newest in the Pokemon Build-a-Bear line.
The Pokemon and Build-a-Bear collaborations have been going strong for nearly a decade. The first Pokemon revealed for the collection, as one might expect, was Pikachu, followed by Pokemon Let’s Go starter Eevee, and the line gradually expanded from there, introducing more popular pocket monsters to the list. 2025 has already seen several Pokemon Build-a-Bears announced or released, including Yamper, Wooloo, Wooper, and a Jumbo Gengar.
Pokemon Build-a-Bear Announces Newest Creation
Now, the collection is introducing Litten, the fire starter from Pokemon Sun and Moon. A listing for the Pokemon is now on the Build-a-Bear website, but isn’t available for purchase yet. Interested buyers can sign up to be notified when it goes on sale, or they can check back manually on September 18, when it’s added to the store. Build-a-Bear is likely anticipating considerable demand for this plush, so big Litten fans shouldn’t hesitate to secure one while they have the chance.
At the moment, Build-a-Bear has only teased a partial image of the Pokemon plush, but it gives a general idea of what to expect. Litten stands on four feet, with a raised tail, and its usual dour expression. The Pokemon appears to be wearing a coat or pajama outfit that’s covered in an orange and yellow geometrical pattern with Poke Ball logos, similar to those that have come with other Pokemon Build-a-Bears. While not explicitly stated on the website at the time of publication, if Litten follows the usual Build-a-Bear pattern, buyers can expect it to arrive with the outfit it’s shown wearing. Pokemon Build-a-Bear plush bundles also typically ship with a 5-in-1 sound chip, which plays five random voice clips of the Pokemon.
While the price for this Pokemon Build-a-Bear hasn’t been announced yet, other standard-size Pokemon Build-a-Bear bundles that are currently available range in price from $60 to $75, so it’s likely Litten will fall in that range. Those who are hoping for other Pokemon Sun and Moon starters to join the line should stay tuned. If Litten sells well, there’s a good chance that its fellow starters Rowlet and Popplio will be produced at some point in the future. However, Build-a-Bear doesn’t tend to stick to strict patterns when releasing the plushes, so it may be a while before those two appear.
