Marvel Rivals has announced that players will soon be able to earn Twitch Drops in anticipation of Season 3. The second Marvel Rivals season began on April 11 and featured the Hellfire Gala, the famous annual celebration of mutants, as its theme. Now, players of NetEase’s shooter are about to dive into a new story starring some very familiar faces.
Named The Abyss Awakens, Marvel Rivals Season 3 will kick off on July 11. One of the main new features will be the addition of Jean Grey’s Phoenix as a new playable character, with Blade finally debuting in the game in the second half of the season. Phoenix arrives as the central character to battle Knull, the symbiote god, who now controls Hela, making his presence an even bigger threat to the cosmos. With the new season, Marvel Rivals will add the Domination map Klyntar: Celestian Husk, as well as new venomized skins for characters such as Rocket Raccoon and Squirrel Girl. In celebration of the third season, Marvel Rivals players will be able to add freebies to their accounts.

In a recent Twitter post, Marvel Rivals announced Season 3 Twitch Drops, which will be available from Friday, July 11, at 5 AM PT, until Friday, August 8, at 2 AM PT. During this period, players can claim a spray, nameplate, emote, and an exclusive skin for Hawkeye. To earn the new Marvel Rivals Twitch Drops, players must connect their game account to their Twitch account and watch Marvel Rivals streamers who have the drops enabled.

Hawkeye is one of the Duelists who escaped the Marvel Rivals Season 3 balance update. The most recent adjustment Clint Barton received was on June 25, when the game nerfed the damage and stun duration of his Ice Arrow. The hero also hadn’t received a new cosmetic in quite some time, the most recent being the Binary Arrow skin, which became available through the Cerebro Database II event. This outfit gives Hawkeye an impressive cyber-themed makeover, and after the event, the devs released an emote, nameplate, and spray related to it.
While Marvel Rivals Season 3 will add the new Hawkeye skin, players can expect even more cosmetics. The upcoming battle pass will feature Phoenix and symbiote-themed skins, while Captain Klyntar and Future Foundation skins will be available for Captain America and Spider-Man. Although no date has been set yet, Marvel Rivals swimsuit skins are also expected to arrive in Season 3.
