A lot of players will look for games that are rich in things to hunt for, and Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream features notes and collectibles throughout it. Players can open up their inventory to check through their notes, collectibles, and their current objective at any time. Using current objectives is a great way of knowing when a player is closing in on an area where they can pick up one of these notes and/or collectibles.

Players can also use unique landmarks and objects to better navigate them. These notes and collectibles will add to the rich lore of the game, and many of them aid the game in building a rich and atmospheric world setting. This guide will ensure players find every note and collectible for Chapter 1 of Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream

Strategy fans who prefer a more methodical and slow approach to their favorite genre should look no further than these games.

All Notes in Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream

Since the game uses an isometric view with a camera that can be rotated, saying “to the left/right,” might not be true for all players while they are playing. This guide will use markers to help players navigate to other key markers so that they don’t end up going in the wrong direction. At times, it may ask players to rotate the camera at certain points so that the screen aligns to a position where they can be more easily navigated.

If players feel they are in the vicinity of a note but do not see it, rotate the camera to reveal parts of the map that are concealed and wait a moment for the note to shimmer.

    Number

    Note Name

    Objective

    Description

    1

Note in the Boiler Room – A note from one colleague to another.

    Reach the rooftop ladder

Players will start by crawling into the boiler room. Here, they will receive some dialogue, and their objective to escape the building will be updated to reach the rooftop ladder. Players will see the light of the furnace and a wheelbarrow heading away from the furnace. In the same direction, there will be a table with a tea kettle on it. The note can be found on this tea kettle. Collectible 1 is also in this room.

    2

    Alva’s Reach – A thank-you letter.

    Get to Cobbler’s Gate

Players will progress through the workshop and exit onto some rooftops. This will update their objective. You will move onto a rooftop with the “citizens of Eriksholm” banner on it. Drop from the opposite side of this roof and run along the walls. You will walk over some planks to another rooftop. Head straight from these planks to find the next note at the end of the path. Collectible 2 is near this note.

An Official Letter – Letter from the office running the workforce in the Cutter’s Hill domestic Area.

    Get to Cobbler’s Gate

After leaving the previous area by avoiding the guards, players will vault over a wooden fence and find some stairs leading up. This Note is at the bottom of these stairs, and players may need to rotate their camera to see it. This Note is near Collectible 4.

    Police Report

    Get to Cobbler’s Gate

Head back to the planks past the stone steps and rotate the camera, so your character is on the right side of the screen. Look at the building with the boarded-up windows. Against this building there will be a table. Wait a moment to see the Note shimmer.

    8

Cutter’s Hill in the Past—Woodworking – Part of an article from a newspaper about woodworking in Cutter’s Hill.

    Cross the Drawbridge

Past the checkpoint that updates the objective to Find a New Way to Leave Cutter’s Hill. Players will head up some stone steps. Players will see some plants pressed up against a wall and some steps going up. Hug the wall on the character’s left side as they go up these steps. This will lead them up 2 more sets of steps and through an open gate. The Note is on a crate past this gate. Collectible 5 is near this Note.

    9

Map of Rosmark – An old map of Rosmark Country.

Cutter’s Hill in the Past—Sails – A note on Sails.

    Cross the Drawbridge

Backtrack to the roof and head to the opposite side of the ladder next to the Mayor’s poster. You will find this Note in the corner of the roof.

    Escape Through East Gate

Head down the ladder by Note 11 and lower the drawbridge. Cross the drawbridge to update the objective and floor the metal tracks on the floor to some parked carts. With the player character looking at these carts while standing behind them, you will see some stairs going down on their right side. Go down these steps, and you will see a Note shimmering on top of a barrel.

    13

Food Ticket – A Rossmark Food Administration subvention ticket, all slots used.

    Escape Through East Gate

After picking up Note 12, turn the camera so that you can see the front of the building with the stone steps on its left. You will see some ledges to the right of this building. Climb up these ledges and head straight until you see some tables with plates on them. Note 13 is sitting on a barrel near these tables.

Green Rock Smuggler – Part of a police report.

    Escape Through East Gate

    17

Train Ticket – A train ticket. Eriksholm—Apple Gardens station

    Hide on the Train

Be sure to get Collectible 6 before heading to the train. Once players reach the train, they can drop onto the wooden planks along the cliffside. On the opposite side will be a metal ladder, and the final Note.

The Heartpox entry is actually misspelled in the game, saying “froma medical journal” instead of “from a medical journal.” Not all mistakes that make it into video games need to be a glitch.
