EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Edition Preorders Include 7-Day Early Access

With most of the big soccer leagues and tournaments wrapping up their 2025 seasons, fans will have to wait until next year for their pro soccer fixes, but thankfully, EA Sports FC 26 drops on September 26 for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC, which should make the offseason a bit more bearable. Folks eager for the new entry in EA’s annual soccer video game series can preorder the game now at multiple online retailers. Not only are there two editions to choose from, but there are some nice preorder bonuses if you reserve the game ahead of time, too.

EA Sports FC 26 Preorder Bonuses

Preordering any version of EA Sports FC 26 gets you the following bonuses:

• 3 ICON Players for Manager Career
• 5-Star Coach in Manager Career
• 5-Star Youth Scout in Manager Career
• Manager Live Challenge Content
• 1 Archetype Unlock Consumable
• 2 Double Archetypes XP Consumables
• 92+ OVR ICON for EA Sports FC 25

These extras are offered with physical and digital preorders of the standard and Ultimate Editions of the game on all platforms.

Along with these universal preorder bonuses, there are also a few retailer-specific extras available, too. Best Buy is offering a free $10 gift card with all physical edition preorders. GameStop will also be offering an exclusive preorder gift, though the details on what exactly this is have yet to be revealed.

There’s also the EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Edition, which offers a selection of exclusive preorder bonuses, including up to severn days of early access to the full game starting September 19, plus a list of in-game items outlined below. Note that preorders for the Ultimate Edition are only open until August 26, so preorder before then.

$70 | Releases September 26

The EA Sports FC 26 standard edition includes the base game plus any eligible preorder bonuses (including retailer-specific extras, depending on where you purchase the game). Physical copies of the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are available at Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop. We expect to see it at other retailers, such as Target and Walmart, soon.

Note that the Switch 2 edition is a Game Key-Card release, meaning none of the game data is stored on the cartridge itself, and it instead works as a physical key to unlock and download the digital version to your console. Like other Game Key-Cards, you’ll be able to trade in or let others borrow the game to play on their system.

If you want to start playing FC 26 as soon as possible, spend the extra $30 for the Ultimate Edition, which lets you play the full game up to seven days early starting September 19. It comes with everything in the standard edition, the FC 26 Season 1 Premium Pass, version-exclusive preorder bonuses, and an assortment of premium in-game items, including:

• 6,000 FC Points over two months (4,500 on Switch)
• Additional FUT Player Evolution Slots (2 additional)
