Mihawk is also a powerful user of Haki, and it certainly does give an edge to his swordsmanship. Overall, it isn’t a surprise for anyone to see that Mihawk is a Yonko-level fighter whose strength is no less impressive than any other Emperor. As such, that is the very level that fans expect Zoro to peak at.

Zoro Already Lost To Mihawk Once
From the very beginning of the story, fans knew Zoro would go on to fight the world’s strongest swordsman and fulfill the promise that he made to Kuina. Zoro has already faced Mihawk once and lost the battle terribly, but the second fight isn’t going to go that way. Zoro will defeat Dracule Mihawk eventually, and fans will definitely get to see that in the manga. That said, Zoro’s victory over Mihawk most certainly doesn’t mean that he won’t have anyone stronger to face.
