Marvel Rivals has revealed the Team-Up adjustments that will take place with the Season 3.5 update. As with previous Marvel Rivals updates, NetEase will bring a fresh round of adjustments to create new dynamics between characters and shake up the game’s meta.
In addition to announcing the debut of Jean Grey/Phoenix and all the changes coming to the game, Marvel Rivals made several Team-Up tweaks in Season 3. The most notable adjustments were the additions of the Team-Ups between Jean and Wolverine, and Human Torch with Spider-Man. Meanwhile, the Symbiote Shenanigans and Stark Protocol Team-Ups were adjusted, and Storming Ignition and ESU Alumnus were removed. To keep Team-Ups a fresh and engaging feature of Marvel Rivals, the developers revealed what’s coming next.

NetEase has published a new Dev Vision video, revealing two new Team-Ups, adjustments to four abilities, and the removal of two others that will happen in Season 3.5. The first new Team-Up will be Duality Dance, with Adam Warlock and Luna Snow, which will use Warlock’s power to bind herself to enemies and turn the damage they take into healing for her. Considered one of the best Strategists in Marvel Rivals, Mantis will be the anchor of the new Team-Up Vibrant Vitality with Loki and Groot. With this new ability, they receive Life Energy from Mantis, Loki increases the stats of allies with his lamps, and Groot’s walls heal teammates.

For Team-Up adjustments, Chilling Assault, which includes Hawkeye and Luna Snow, will now feature Iron Fist. With this, he will be able to heal himself and his allies by using Harmony Recovery. Star-Lord will join the Rocket Network, a Team-Up that includes Peni Parker and Rocket Raccoon, gaining a teleportation beacon to which he can return on a 30-second cooldown. With Blade’s debut in Marvel Rivals, he will join Cloak and Dagger and Moon Knight in the Lunar Force Team-Up. With this ability, he will create a dome that makes him temporarily invisible and activates self-healing. Loki will leave the Ragnarok Rebirth Team-Up, and Hela will only be able to resurrect Thor.
Finally, the Marvel Rivals Team-Ups that will be leaving when the Season 3.5 update starts on August 8 will be Guardian Revival, which consists of Adam Warlock, Mantis, and Star-Lord, and Atlas Bond, which consists of Iron Fist and Luna Snow. With these adjustments, the debut of Blade, and other planned changes to Marvel Rivals, NetEase aims to make the shooter even more engaging for players while maintaining a fair gaming environment.
