Pokemon GO Fest 2025 is going to be a blast, with the Max Finale event crowning the Season with tons of Max Battles and the challenging Eternamax Eternatus 6-Star Max Battle to beat. Trainers preparing themselves for this Gygantamax Battle, should also know that there’s a bunch of bonuses, activities, and even a score-based Event Pass for the Max Finale.
In this guide, players will find all the information they need to know about Pokemon GO Fest 2025 Max Finale, its bonuses, the GO Pass: Max Finale, Tasks, and all its completion rewards, and whether it’s worth purchasing the Deluxe Pass or not.
Pokemon GO Max Finale Bonuses & Schedule
Pokemon GO Max Finale will start on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 10 AM Local Time and will finish by Sunday, August 24, at 6 PM Local Time. Players can score points as soon as Monday, August 18, 2025 by participating in the many Dynamax Battles available in the Dark Skies event. Also, players will be able to enjoy the following bonuses while the Max Finale event is active:
- Additional Power Spots will be active
- Power Spots will refresh more frequently
- Max Particle collection limit will increase
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon
- 2× Candy XL chance from catching Pokémon
- No limit on Remote Raids
GO Pass: Max Finale Task List
As per usual, Pokemon GO has implemented a series of Tasks to complete in order to earn extra rewards, in this case, they will contribute to increasing the Go Pass: Max Finale level. Here’s a list of the Tasks players can complete up to a daily maximum of 50 Points per day:
- Win 4/5-Star Dynamax Battle: 25 Points
- Win a Gigantamax Battle: 25 Points
- Win 5-Star Raid: 25 Points
- Win 2/3-Star Dynamax Battle: 15 Points
- Win 2/3-Star Raid: 15 Points
- Win 1-Star Dynamax Battle: 10 Points
- Win 1-Star Dynamax Battle: 10 Points
Players who have purchased the Deluxe Pass will also have access to the following daily Tasks:
- Catch 3x Grookey, Scorbunny, or Sobble: 10 Points
GO Pass: Max Finale Rewards in Pokemon GO
Pokemon GO Trainers will receive their GO Pass: Max Finale starting Monday 18, at 10 AM Local time. From that point on, they will be able to accumulate GO Points by participating in Max Battles, up to a maximum daily Cap. The more points they score, the better. The daily cap will be removed on Saturday, August 23 at 10 AM Local Time, when the battle against Eternamax Eternatus begins, so trainers will be able to score as many points as they like during the Max Finale Event.
Rewards for the free GO Pass include: Random Encounters with Dynamax Pokemon, XP, Max Mushrooms, Zacian, and Zamazenta Candy, and 1700 Max Particles.
Players can also purchase a Premium version of the GO Pass from the Pokemon GO online store, which will grant them extra rewards like Premium Raid Passes, extra Eternatus Candy (over 7000 Candy and Candy XL), Eternatus Stickers, 6x Lucky Eggs, 6x Star Pieces, 6x Max Mushrooms, and many other rewards.
