Neon Tomb is the 14th mission in Ready or Not, and by far one of the most distressing. Players are forced to respond to a terrorist cell known as the Hand, which has taken control of the Neon Nightclub through lethal force. Armed with guns and suicide vests, the Hand will challenge players in multiple ways, so for those seeking the S-Rank in Neon Tomb, they will want to check out the guide below that goes through the best loadout, routes to take, and mission objectives.
All Objectives in Neon Tomb
The video above showcases a full walkthrough of Neon Tomb in solo on Standard difficulty so that players can see the tactics we used to complete a non-lethal run for the S-Rank!
There are 3 main objectives to complete, and no soft objectives in Neon Tomb. This means that players need to complete the basics of arresting all suspects and civilians in a non-lethal fashion, and collect all weapon evidence to get the S-Rank. Here’s the objectives list for Neon Tomb:
Objective |
How to Complete |
---|---|
Bring Order to Chaos |
Secure all 15 suspects |
Rescue All of the Civilians |
Secure all 9 civilians |
Arrest Qadamah |
A suspect, noted for his leather jacket and head scarf |
For this loadout, we elected for a different approach from the standard Beanbag Shotgun. Neon Tomb has very tight corners and boxed areas, and with so many hostile enemies with bomb vests, we decided that the M32A1 Flash Grenade Launcher was the safest weapon to use, as it will stun enemies and force them to drop their weapons, meaning there can be no misfiring to shoot the head or a bomb vest. Since you’re going to want as much ammo in the M32A1 Flash as possible, we went for Light Armor with Ceramic Plates that only cover the front, as we used the Tactical Shield for back cover. Be sure to bring Anti-Flash Goggles and a TRPL pistol as a backup.
For solo players, officers with the VPL-25 using the Kicker, Negotiator, Pacifier, and Nutritionist traits is the best choice going forward. Also, make sure to equip them with Anti-Flash Goggles to avoid friendly fire with the M32A1 Flash.
How to Bring Order to Chaos in Neon Tomb
There are around 15+ suspects in Neon Tomb, and all of them will be armed with assault rifles, meaning long-range is a dangerous game to play. On top of assault rifles, some of the suspects in Neon Tomb will have suicide vests, meaning they will charge towards you and detonate the bomb strapped to their chest to instantly kill you and your squadmates. To easily take care of these enemies, shoot a round from the M32A1 Flash Grenade Launcher to instantly stun them in place and spam commands to get them to surrender, which they should do after the first shot.
The most optimal route for Neon Tomb involves heading through the cloakroom on the left and then taking out the upstairs area. Most rooms are sealed from one another, so clear room by room in the upstairs area while avoiding the railing that exposes the central dance floor. After clearing upstairs, loop around to the bath house and take out the enemies in this area so that the only place that remains to check is the central dance floor. There can also be enemies hiding in the bathrooms, so don’t forget to check those.
You can also head to the second floor of the nightclub, where opposite the entrance to the bath house is a DJ booth where you can turn off the music to better hear the enemies and civilians.
How to Arrest Qadamah in Neon Tomb
Where to Find Qadamah in Neon Tomb
Qadamah is the leader of the Hand, and he doesn’t actually have a set spawn in Neon Tomb. However, it’s very important to know what Qadamah looks like so you can prioritise his arrest, as killing him will cause this objective to fail. Qadamah usually wears a black leather jacket with a military vest and is noted for not having a mask, but a head scarf. In most runs of Neon Tomb, Qadamah should be in the bath house at the back of the first floor. The bath house has plenty of glass walls and turns, so be sure to be careful when you enter this area, and use Flash Grenades to avoid unwanted surprises to find Qadamah.
How to Rescue All Civilians in Neon Tomb
There are around 9+ civilians to secure in Neon Tomb, and they should be of low priority considering the number of hostiles in the area. It’s also very important to know that some of the civilians found in Neon Tomb will have a bomb vest strapped to them, so be very careful when approaching them. It is not possible to defuse the bomb vest, so simply make the standard arrest and be sure not to shoot the civilian in the body where the vest could detonate, killing whoever is nearby, including the civilian. Some of the suspects might take civilians hostage, which is why the M32A1 Flash is important to stun them before they take lethal action. Be sure to check the bathrooms on the club floor and in the bath house, as some civilians might be hiding.
